Biography:

International transactions and disputes connected with the Russian-speaking world are at the center of Alexey’s professional interest. His expertise encompasses international M&A deals, international dispute resolution including investor-state and commercial arbitration, and cross-board transactions in a wide range of economic sectors embracing industrial production, raw commodities, natural resources, the energy sector, international trade, and many more. Alexey had vast experience in representing parties by resolving disputes under the rules of various arbitration institutions, as well as in ad-hoc proceedings.
Alexey acquired his law degree at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and is allowed to represent parties before Russian and international courts and tribunals. He has deepened his knowledge by acquiring an LL.M. degree in international dispute resolution at Humboldt University in Berlin. Since then, he worked at several prominent international legal firms such as Noerr and Skadden, as well as in dispute resolution boutiques.
Besides practicing law, Alexey is currently studying political sciences at Free University Berlin aiming to widen his understanding of the theoretical aspects of international trade and sanctions regimes.
